Mechanism of action
The active substance belongs to the chemical class of pyrethroids and is distinguished by a clearly expressed rapid contact-gastric effect. The active substance affects the nervous system of insect pests, disrupting the permeability of cell membranes and blocking sodium channels. Causes paralysis of the central and peripheral nervous systems.
Properties
Knockout Extra has a wide spectrum of insecticidal action, destroys a complex of sucking and biting open-living insects from various systematic groups. Compatible with many insecticides, fungicides, micro- and macro-fertilizers that do not have an alkaline reaction. On contact, it is toxic to bees and other beneficial insects, resistant to being washed away by precipitation.
General recommendations
It is advisable to start processing when the number of pests exceeds the economic threshold of harmfulness. A mandatory requirement is to ensure continuous coverage of the area and abundant wetting of plants during spraying. It is not recommended to carry out spraying at a wind speed of more than 3-4 m/s and at an air temperature above +30C. Additional addition of Alfalip (0.2 l/ha) and Alfalip Extra (0.1-0.2 l/ha) surface-active substances to the tank mixture is not mandatory, but improves the wetting of plants with the working solution, especially plants from the family cruciferous vegetables (cabbage, rapeseed). To prevent the emergence of resistance, it is recommended to alternate the use of the drug with insecticides of other chemical classes, such as organophosphorus. Knockout Extra is safe for mammals and birds when used in recommended doses.
